Flipped for Flipping

We stumbled on to this house in a neighborhood adjacent to ours.

Always looking for a project, we jumped on the opportunity to dig in and transform this dated and somewhat neglected home.

After all was said and done, we replaced all of the flooring throughout, painted every wall, and added all new lighting and plumbing fixtures. What we didn't replace we scrubbed, cleaned and repaired.

In the kitchen we added new granite counter tops and updated stainless appliances. Our budget did not allow for replacing the cupboards so while not ideal, we cleaned them up and spent a little extra on the granite back splash to make them look less dated. They ended up looking really beautiful!

The great room in the basement was large enough to accommodate a second kitchen so we added a kitchen there for good measure. The large yard was a wreck. We cleaned up, hauled off, created a huge garden space and replaced the majority of the lawn with new sod.

All in the project took a little over a month working on it nights and weekends. The house sold almost immediately and the new owners were overjoyed to find a newly updated home with enough space for their large family.
